Soma Health and Wellness in Hawthorn was establish when Director, Anna Yerondais, recognised a need within the allied health industry for a centre that could offer a professional, high level of health care in an environment nothing short of pure tranquility. Soma Health and Wellness was established in May 2006 and has enjoyed bringing together a team of Allied Health care workers to support you through acute pain management, chronic pain care, determining health and wellbeing goals and simply offering a centre to ‘escape’ from the hustle and bustle of the outside world.

Constantly developing our skills as health care providers, our team have enjoyed over the years local business awards, national business nominations and are proud to be recognised for their service and care by many of Australia’s leading heath retreat destinations.

Our team of professionally trained practitioners value the importance of holistic care, taking into consideration environmental, lifestyle, emotional and physical factors they may affect health and wellbeing. All Soma practitioners are recognised members for the processing of  private health rebates with some services now accepted for Medicare benefits.

Your Soma experience begins with our friendly reception staff guiding you through to our lounge area, where you can enjoy complimentary herbal tea, or step outside and relax in the serene outdoor oasis. Your practitioner will greet you from this point to take you through to your consultation room - from here your health and wellbeing goals are determined and together you establish the right plan to achieve your desired goals.

Location – map An urban oasis in the heart of Melbourne's leafy suburb of Hawthorn. Located at 144 Barkers Road Hawthorn, we are situated directly opposite Xavier College sports ground, between Glenferrie Road and Denmark Street. Convenient parking is available at the rear of the premises, straight down the lane way between our centre and our neighboring building on the right. Public transportation is easy with close access to trams and trains.

ParkingSafe and secure car parking facilities are located at the rear of the property, accessed off Barkers Road.

Reservations It is recommended that you book your appointment early to avoid disappointment. Operating hours are extremely flexible from Monday through to Saturday with early morning and evening appointments being available.

Arrival Time For you to enjoy the full value of your treatments and allow yourself time to relax and unwind in our lounge we ask that you arrive 10 minutes before commencement of your treatment. Please plan your time carefully, as all treatments conclude at the scheduled time.

Cancellation Policy We request that you allow 24hours notice of any cancellations or rescheduling to avoid incurring a fee. Should your appointment be cancelled or changed within requested 24 hour time frame, 50% of the scheduled fee will be charged, and the full consultation fee is billed for non-attendance of scheduled appointments.

Payments Cash and Visa, Bankcard, MasterCard and Amex are accepted. No cheques will be accepted. Operating Hours At Soma we appreciate that life does not operate on a 9 – 5 schedule, so in an effort to accommodate your needs we have early morning to late evening appointments and operate on Saturdays.
