Joel, Myotherapist
My job was very stressful and my muscles were screaming out for a massage. Enter SOMA and Joel. I thought I knew my body well but since seeing Joel I’ve learnt about the actual site of my pain and it’s been a revelation. Joel is very knowledgeable about the way the body works and which techniques will work best for each client. His treatments are, without a doubt, the most effective I’ve encountered.

Joel Olsen, Myotherapist

My husband and I took a private infant massage course with Joel Olsen in late 2009. There were two classes on a Saturday which meant that we could both attend. We had attempted some massage but we wanted to have an idea of whether we were doing it ‘right’ and to have some kind of structure and some additional ‘moves’. Joel gave us lots of encouragement, and the class gave us a ‘routine’ to follow and some special moves for when our daughter had wind.
Our daughter is now 5 months old and we give her a massage every night after her bath. It was amazing to me to see our daughter start to anticipate her massage and respond positively when we asked permission to massage her. Not only does she love the massage but the ‘colic’ sequence has really saved us on quite a few occasions and has stopped the crying!

Kind regards

Rebates

SOMA knows how important health rebates are to its patients and have for this reason made claiming for private health rebates easy with the HiCaps facility. This allows you to receive your rebate for your treatment right there and then*. Our practitioners are registered with all major health funds; however it is recommended that you contact your fund to determine if you are eligible for private health insurance rebates and to discuss what the schedule rebate may be.

If you would like to know more about how your fund currently compares to other private funds, visit www.iselect.com.au or www.health-link.com.au to ensure you are getting the most out of your private health insurer.

*Some funds may not be linked to the HiCaps facility for some services and still require you to send through your receipt of payment.
